Mumbai: After a lot of hullabaloo, Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ recorded a big opening on its release day and is still going strong in theatres.
However, Noreen, widow of slain Pakistani cop Chaudhary Aslam, is unhappy with the description of her husband’s character, played by Sanjay Dutt, and is planning legal action against the makers. ADVERTISEMENT
On a podcast by Dialogue Pakistan, Noreen shared that her husband was a great fan of Dutt ever since he watched the movie ‘Khalnayak’ in the 1990s.
Noreen said she believed that Sanjay would do justice to her husband’s character in the film, but in the film’s trailer, Aslam’s character was described as the offspring of the devil and a djinn, which left her disappointed.
“We are Muslims, and such words are disrespectful not only to Aslam
