Rockford bridge to be reduced to one lane both ways this week

ROCKFORD, Ill. — A local bridge will be reduced to one lane in both directions one day this week.

The City of Rockford announced that on Tuesday, the outside traffic lanes of the Harrison Avenue Bridge will be closed for bridge inspections.

The work will be completed by the end of the day on Tuesday.

Traffic control will be in place, according to the City.
