INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD announced the arrest of a suspect after a "disturbance over marijuana" led to a shooting over the weekend on Indianapolis' near southeast side.
The 29-year-old man faces preliminary charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying of a handgun by a felon and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, police said.

The shooting was reported around 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 in the 1600 block of East Gimber Street , near East Troy Avenue and Interstate 65.
Responding officers located a man who had been shot in the foot.
"Several witnesses at the scene provided officers and detectives with key information" that led to the suspect being identified
