Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit to prevent plans for a Muslim community in the state from advancing.
Over the weekend, Paxton announced he is suing East Plano Islamic Center, known as EPIC City, and those spearheading the project, marking Republicans’ latest efforts to thwart what they believe to be a development that could push Sharia law on Texans.
