LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Nebraska’s men’s and women’s basketball are both ranked in their respective Associated Press Top 25 rankings.

After a big win over the Creighton Bluejays , Nebraska’s men’s basketball team made their first appearance on the AP poll since 2018, coming in at 23 .

Currently, Nebraska is one of six ranked teams to remain undefeated, their 9-0 start being their best since the 1977-78 season.

A win over Penn State’s Nittany Lions also has the women’s team in the rankings, as they have their first appearance in the poll since December of 2024 coming in at 24 .

Only Nebraska, Iowa State, and Vanderbilt are the only schools in the country where both their women’s and men’s teams are both still undefeated.
