A man is accused of injuring a teenager after crashing into a parked vehicle Friday morning while driving high on cocaine in Mead.
Douglas Warner, 58, was arrested on felony charges of DUI – vehicular assault and possession of a controlled substance, as well as misdemeanor charges for driving under the influence of drugs and careless driving, according to his arrest affidavit.
Just after 6:30 a.m., Mead police officers responded to a report of a man sleeping in his car in the middle of Horseshoe Circle. The driver pulled away as officers were en route, the affidavit states.
The driver, later identified as Warner, pulled into the parking lot of Mead High School and drove around in circles as if he was trying to leave before crashing into the side of a parked vehicle, according to the aff
