Recent research has revealed that Gen Z women are far more confident in their DIY abilities than their male counterparts. Nearly half of Gen Z women (46%) expressed confidence in their painting and decorating prowess, compared to a mere 28% of men.

A third of young women (33%) also feel capable of hanging shelves, as opposed to just 21% of men. Meanwhile, Gen Z men appear to be losing their touch with basic household tasks, with only 31% feeling comfortable changing a light bulb, compared to a staggering 94%
