Every home and business in Monroe County — including most rural areas — now have access to Spectrum high-speed internet, the company announced at a Dec. 8 press conference with county officials.
A countywide buildout — funded with $1.8 million from the federal American Rescue Plan Act and more than $950K from Spectrum — has expanded coverage to rural pockets of Hamlin, Clarkson, Sweden, Parma, Riga, Wheatland, Ogden, Rush, Mendon and Penfield, Spectrum said in a statement.
