What looked like a golden chance for the Utah Jazz to steal a win turned into another weird night. The Jazz walked into Sunday’s matchup knowing Oklahoma City was missing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and some rotation guys. On paper, it felt like the upset door was wide open. In reality, though, OKC slammed it shut. And Will Hardy had had enough.

The Jazz flashed early optimism with a 2-1 start, but the slide since has been sharp. Losses are stacking up. Momentum keeps slipping. Plus, for a team still searching for identity, this one hit hard, especially after Delta Center banned fan signs.

By the time the Thunder raced out to a 10-1 lead, HC Hardy called a quick timeout and gave out a blunt message.

“I’m tired of f***ing doing this every game. F***ing play harder.”
