The outlook appears positive for Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane after exiting Sunday’s win over the New York Jets early.
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Monday, back at team facilities in Miami Gardens, Achane doesn’t need anything beyond treatment and rest in order to play through his new rib injury in next week’s game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh on “Monday Night Football.”
McDaniel said Achane is looking forward to playing against the Steelers as he was adamant Sunday he could’ve gone back out onto the field despite the discomfort he was experiencing.
“There will be treatment. There may be some rest over the course of the week but he’s highly motivated for the game,” McDaniel said Monday, after Achane had an MRI done on
