MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A U.S. immigration judge ordered on Monday that the mother of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt's nephew be released from an immigration detention center.

Bruna Ferreira, the ex-fiancée of Michael Leavitt, Karoline Leavitt's brother, will be released on $1,500 bond, her lawyers confirm to WMUR. Ferreira shares an 11-year-old son with Mr. Leavitt.

According to Ferreira's lawyers, $1,500 is the minimum cash amount permitted by law.

"We argued that she was not a danger nor a flight risk nor a criminal illegal alien and the government stipulated to our argument and made no argument whatsoever and then waived appeal. We anticipate she will be released from custody
