As the top Democrat on the Senate Aging Committee, Gillibrand on Monday, Dec. 8, warned seniors in New York State about a rise in scams targeting older adults. She also introduced the bipartisan National Strategy for Combating Scams Act, legislation to combat such fraud on the national level.
