Dog lovers are in for a treat this Christmas as the “pawfect” festive event comes to town.

The Tawny Owl in Darlington will host its first ever Christmas Santa Paws Dog Show on Saturday, December 13, from 3pm, promising an afternoon full of wagging tails and festive fun.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes can compete in categories including Musical Sit, Best Dressed in a Christmas Jumper, Best Christmas Tricks, Fastest Dog to Unwrap a Gift, and the Dog That Looks Most Like a Reindeer.

After hosting their first dog show this summer, the pub was inundated with owners asking when the next event would be, so they could get their pooches show-ready.
