Robert “Bob” Crichton Myers, a longtime, well-loved University of Louisville business professor, died Dec. 2. He was 90.

Myers worked at the University of Louisville College of Business for 56 years, inspiring generations of students along the way, according to his obituary . He was a friendly, outgoing colleague with a "heart of gold," Warren "Dale" McIntosh, who became close friends with Myers while working together at UofL, said. The two had gotten breakfast together two weeks before Myers' death.

"If someone looked like they were in need of someone, he'd go out of his way to help them," McIntosh said.
