COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following Kirtland’s run to the Division VI state championship on Saturday in Canton , the Hornets took home more honors with the Division VI All-Ohio teams announced on Monday.
Seven players made the first team, including quarterback Jake LaVerde and running back John Silvestro on offense with center Lucci Cantini. Nose tackle and running back Ty Bledsoe made the first-team defense with Chase Gron and linebacker Zander Perko.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association announced Monday its All-Ohio football teams for Division VI, as selected by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association. It also unveiled Division VII on Monday.
The All-Ohio teams for Divisions IV and V will be announced on Tuesday, followed by Divisions II and III on Wednesday. The Division I teams will be
