SHEPHERDSTOWN – Lucas Morgan scored a game-high 25 points to lead No. 17 Gannon (6-1, 1-0 PSAC) to a 91-79 win over Shepherd (3-4, 0-1 PSAC) in PSAC men's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday.
Junior guard Marcus Banks scored a team-high 24 points to pace the Rams. He was 6 of 11 from the floor with a 12-of-15 effort from the foul line. He added eight boards, five assists and a pair of steals.
Sophomore guard Elwyne Wordlaw added 23 points, with 12 coming from 3-point range. Sophomore forward Favor Okigweh tossed in 11 points and had eight rebounds. Sophomore guard Brody Davis tied Gannon's Lucas Sekasi with a game-high nine rebounds.
Pace Prosser had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Golden Knights. Carter Wamsley was also in double figures with 12 points.
