After an exhausting three-week search, police have the suspect wanted in the shooting of New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd in custody.
In the early hours of Nov. 16, Kris Boyd was shot outside of a Manhattan restaurant during an altercation. He was rushed to the hospital and listed in critical condition, but has made significant progress in his recovery and even visited his teammates on Wednesday.
While Boyd has thankfully made a strong recovery, another positive update has emerged on this case: The suspect wanted in the shooting has finally been caught.
According to the New York Post, US Marshals arrested a 20-year-old man at a Buffalo apartment complex on Monday. The suspect’s name hasn’t been released, but the Post adds that his record shows four previous offenses:
