AMES, Iowa —
Iowa State released details from its agreement with new football head coach Jimmy Rogers .

According to a memorandum of understanding between Iowa State and Rogers, Rogers will get the following:
Contract for six years ending Jan. 31, 2032.
Base pay of $3 million.
Additional compensation for number of wins in a regular season. This closely models Campbell's last contract with ISU. There is other compensation for bowl game appearances, being named the conference coach of the year, etc.
Iowa State will pay Washington State University $4 million as a result of him leaving his contract there.
A contract will be worked out in 60 days, pending a satisfactory background check.
