Five-time major winner Brooks Koepka might not play in the upcoming LIV Golf season despite being under contract, Sports Business Journal reported Monday.

Koepka, one of the breakaway circuit's highest-profile signings when it launched in 2022, could be seeking a return to the PGA Tour.

SBJ, which cited "at least four golf sources" in its report, put the question to LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil in an article published Monday.

"I know you're not going to want to hear this one, just the individual players, and this goes back to our policy, we're just going to run it through," O'Neil said when asked about Koepka's status. "So, we haven't made any announcements on players, but he is signed for 2026."
