ELDORADO, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Eldorado High School Speech Team achieved remarkable success at the Waterloo competition, securing first place in the Small School category.

Eldorado students delivered standout performances across various categories. Ansley Belt and Kristen Girtman took fourth place in Dramatic Duet Acting for JV, while Myleigh Melvin secured second place in the Varsity B Final for Dramatic Interpretation.

Dalton Dixon earned sixth place in JV Extemporaneous Speaking. In the Humorous Interpretation category, Isaac Lloyd placed third in Varsity, and Kristen Girtman also secured third in JV.

Makennah Dale and Myleigh Melvin achieved third place in Varsity Humorous Duet Acting. Loxton Zurliene took third in Varsity Impromptu Speaking and fourth in Varsity Informative Speaking,
