COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said crews were on scene of a confined space rescue near Cimarron Street and I-25 Monday afternoon.

Crews said firefighters were responding to a call of a person potentially trapped in a confined space in the area.

As of 1:44 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department said the southbound I-25 right turn lane at the off-ramp at Cimarron Street is closed.

CSFD said police and fire crews are on scene, and first responders are on the highway.

Several emergency vehicles are in the area, and drivers are asked to use caution and expect delays as crews respond.
