New Delhi: IndiGo submitted its response to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation’s show cause notice on Monday, meeting the 6 pm deadline amid mounting scrutiny over the airline’s operational failures.
According to sources, the contents of the reply remain confidential and are unlikely to be made public immediately.
A key meeting between senior officials of the DGCA and the Civil Aviation Ministry is expected later in the evening to examine the airline’s explanation and assess further action. The aviation regulator has also summoned IndiGo’s top leadership, including chief executive Pieter Elbers, who has faced growing criticism over the handling of the crisis.
