Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy admitted Monday afternoon that he did "not have a plan" to lower airport food prices as a part of President Donald Trump's family-centric travel initiative.
Duffy made the admission during a news conference on Monday.
"So the question is lowering the cost of food in airports," Duffy said. "And again, it's interesting. It's market demand and supply."
"And so I don't have a plan to reduce costs," he added. "What I am trying to do is provide healthier options for people. And again, again, who doesn't love a greasy burger at the airport? I know I do."
