JACKSON — A municipal judge on Monday denied bond for a man charged in the fatal shooting of 36-year-old Krishawn Course, while a second defendant in the case was granted a $25,000 bond, according to the Jackson Police Department.
The bond rulings stem from a Dec. 5 incident in the 2800 block of Revere Street, where officers found Course inside a residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene. Next of kin have been notified.
Investigators identified 33-year-old Emmanuel Frye as the suspected shooter. Frye was arrested and charged with murder, along with possession of a stolen auto and aggravated assault. He appeared in municipal court on Dec. 8, where the judge denied bond.
Also arrested was 32-year-old Cierra Grayson, who is charged with hindering prosecution. G
