The 2025-26 girls basketball season officially tipped on Monday, and there will be countless teams to follow from one end of the state to the other.
NJ Advance Media is highlighting the top players in each conference as the full Opening Night next week.
Here are the players to watch in the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference:
Jade Bethea, Becton, So.
As a freshman Bethea averaged 11.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game for a Becton team that went 20-11 and 8-0 atop the Meadowlands Division.
Aya Catran, Cresskill, Sr.
Catran led Cresskill with 11.3 points per game last season and also hit for 43 3-pointers.
Zohar Catran, Cresskill, So.
As a freshman, Catran averaged 10.5 points, five rebounds, 2.2 assists and hit for a team-high 51 3s.
