The 2025-26 girls basketball season officially tipped on Monday, and there will be countless teams to follow from one end of the state to the other.

NJ Advance Media is highlighting the top players in each conference as the full Opening Night next week.

Here are the players to watch in the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference:

Emma Barone, Jefferson, Sr.

Barone averaged 10.2 points per game last year as Jefferson went 21-8 and 10-0 atop the Freedom Division.

Tessa Bowers, Villa Walsh, Sr.

Bowers led Villa Walsh in scoring last year, averaging 10.2 points per game. She also contributed 4.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game as the Vikings went 20-8 and 10-0 atop the Independence Division.
