The future of Jimmy Kimmel Live has now been revealed ahead of the late-night host's contract ending in May 2026. The comedian's 2025 has been rough, to say the least. In September, Jimmy Kimmel was temporarily suspended after comments he made about Charlie Kirk's killer ruffled feathers with conservative figures, including the Trump White House, and broadcasters Nexstar and Sinclair.
Deadline is reporting that, despite the scandal, Kimmel has renewed his contract for one more year, which means Jimmy Kimmel Live will stay on the air at least through May 2027.
The only wrinkle in his announcement is that it sounds like Kimmel won't be renewing his contract after May 2027, according to the outlet, which added that those plans aren't set in stone, considering the late-night host
