Prince Harry is cracking some jokes about growing up in the Royal Family.

On Friday (December 5), the 41-year-old Duke of Sussex was a distinguished guest and speaker at the British-American Business Council’s 65th Annual Christmas Luncheon in Santa Monica, Calif.

During his speech, Harry compared his life in the Royal Family to Downton Abbey .

“People sometimes ask if growing up with the royal family was a bit like [show creator] Julian’s [Fellowes] Downton Abbey ,’ Harry said, per People . “Yeah, but only one of those worlds is filled with drama, intrigue, elaborate dinners [and] marriages to Americans — and the other is a TV show.”

On a more serious note, Harry talked about living in the United States as a British citizen.
