The Rotary Club of Toledo Foundation on Monday presented emergency grants totaling $10,000 to three local nonprofit organizations addressing the surge in food assistance needs across northwest Ohio.
The recipients include:
● Connecting Kids to Meals Afterschool Meals Program, which provides hot meals at no cost to youths aged 18 and under who visit their meal sites in low-income and underserved areas of northwest Ohio;
● Mobile Meals of Toledo SOS Program, which offers no-cost food assistance to older adults, young adults exiting foster care, and disabled individuals who do not meet qualifications for other programs;
● Wayman Palmer YMCA Client-Choice Food Pantry.
The $10,000 total grant will be shared among each of the groups.
