US President Donald Trump clashed with an ABC News reporter on Monday after she questioned him about his changing comments on a controversial military strike on Venezuelan drug cartels , the latest in a series of personal attacks on women journalists.

In a press briefing, ABC senior political correspondent Rachel Scott asked Trump whether he would order Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth to release video of a second September 2 strike that hit the survivors of an alleged drug boat. Trump had said last week he had no problem releasing the footage, but he rejected Scott's premise on Monday.
