There's a good chance that northeastern South Dakota gymnasts will again have something to say about who wins state Class AA and A titles this winter.

Watertown continued its strong run of success during the past couple of decades by placing third in Class AA at the 2025 state meet held in the Watertown Civic Arena.

"I am definitely hopeful we can be third or higher again this year," Watertown coach Vicky Fisher said. "Harrisburg will be the one to watch. They lost on a couple of gymnasts from their state championship team a year ago."

Estelline-Hendricks, one of five area teams competing in Region 1, captured its third-straight Class A title the same weekend in Watertown.
