GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - As travelers from all over, take off and touch down at Austin Straubel International Airport.

This year’s holiday trees are now officially up.

Five specially designed artificial evergreens, now installed across the airport from the grand lobby to the ticket lobby and even baggage claim.

Those trees were designed by three local organizations, and two local artists.

While many were submitted, only one could be crowned grand prize winner and this year, the Mulva Cultural Center tree takes that spot.

Airport director Marty Piette says, with a city like Green Bay, partnerships and community support is everything.
