The UK is bracing for a bout of extreme weather, with flood warnings in place as heavy rain and strong winds are forecast to sweep across much of the country. The Met Office has predicted that Storm Bram will bring flooding and travel disruptions from the early hours of Tuesday morning.
With rainfall of up to 100mm expected in some regions, there are heightened flood alerts spread across various counties. In addition to significant downpours, parts of the UK are also set to be hit by winds reaching speeds of 85mph.
