A total of 350 players have been finalised for the Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026 auction) as the BCCI unveiled the list on Tuesday, December 9. 1,390 players had originally showed their interest for the bidding event, scheduled to be held on December 16 in Abu Dhbai
After the shortlisting process, the final pool has been trimmed to 350 players, comprising 240 Indian and 110 overseas recruits. The group includes 224 uncapped Indian players and 14 uncapped overseas players, ensuring a strong blend of experienced options and emerging talent.
The ten franchises will have 77 available slots to fill during the auction, including 31 positions reserved for overseas players. With teams aiming to rebuild or strengthen ahead of the 2026 season, intense bidding battles are expected.
