CHARLOTTE, N.C.- A woman on social media shared that her father insists she spends all major holidays with him. But there is one catch: the holiday could happen whenever it’s convenient for them. Jess Wilson says her her 85-year-old father abandoned the “tyranny of the calendar” decades ago. She says her parents divorced when she was younger, and to make everyone happy, her father proposed that holidays didn’t have to happen on their designated dates. That way she could spend the holidays with both parents.
