Tough decisions loom Tuesday for trustees with London’s fast-growing Catholic school board over proposed cuts to busing for specialty programs intended to rein in spending that have drawn parental blowback.
In September, Gabe Pizzuti, chair of the London District Catholic board, said he was shocked to learn the board’s budget has a funding shortfall of more than $22 million . The board’s total 2025-26 budget is $411 million.

Pizzuti this week said that to “move forward responsibly,” the organization “must clearly identify which services are not funded and make informed decisions.”
