The In-N-Out restaurant chain will officially open its first locations in Tennessee this week.
On Wednesday, locations in Lebanon and Antioch will open, followed by a location in Murfreesboro on Friday.
The greater Nashville area is expected to eventually have 10 to 15 stores. Memphis is slated for 4 to 5 locations. Chattanooga will have 2 to 3 stores.
Clarksville is also on the list for an In-N-Out at an unspecified future date.
The restaurant's expansion to Tennessee is an extension of In-N-Out's corporate office being built in Franklin after the CEO cited high costs and business challenges, along with the difficulty of raising her family in California. Corporate headquarters will remain in place on the West Coast where the vast majority of In-N-Out restaurants are located.
