"If I had £1 for every time I saw temporary traffic lights, I would be a very wealthy person."

That is the message from a Kenilworth councillor who has called for an update on the "continuing traffic chaos" around the town.

Cllr Adrian Marsh's words came at last week's full Kenilworth Town Council meeting where members agreed to ask Warwickshire County Council for reassurances on roadworks, traffic lights and temporary closures around the area.

"I am concerned at the continuing traffic chaos that residents of Kenilworth are experiencing," Cllr Marsh said.

"The 'bridge to nowhere' I don't see any further movement on that; [there are] dangers being created by developments - there is a prime example on Crewe Lane and now Glasshouse Lane.
