GONZALES, La. (WAFB) - The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office says a Gonzales couple is behind bars after being accused of abusing two children under 10.

Deputies say Chelsea Blouin, 33, and Gregg Blouin, 34, are both facing two counts of second-degree cruelty to juveniles. Additionally, Chelsea is charged with resisting an officer and obstruction of justice.

According to authorities, detectives received information on Friday, Dec. 65, that two children were being physically abused in Gonzales. When detectives located the two juveniles, officials say they observed severe bruises and other injuries on both victims.
