Emergency personnel called to truck into tree in Charlestown

CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Charlestown Richmond fire personnel responded to a truck that collided head-on with a tree Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred on South County Trail, according to the Charlestown Richmond Fire Department.

The driver was able to remove themselves from the truck before first responders arrived.

There was no active fire and the truck was towed from the scene.
