A man faces attempted murder and other charges after a 911 operator heard a woman caller screaming and sent officers to a city home, Sarnia police say.
The 911 call came in about 9:20 p.m. Monday, police said in a release. The caller didn’t speak, but a woman could be heard screaming along with sounds of a violent confrontation.

The call was “geolocated” to a southeast Sarnia street, where officers went to several addresses until a woman answered the door at one home “visibly upset, with blood-stained clothing, obvious injuries to her face and a slash to her neck,” police said.
A man with “fresh blood on his person” could be seen from the doorway and was arrested, police said.
Investigation revealed the man and woman were in a domestic relationship, police said.
