November home sales remained below benchmark averages, but there are signs of recovery, the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors says.

The 92 units sold in November through association’s MLS System was down 15.6 per cent from November 2024, according the organization’s monthly report.

Home sales were 13 per cent below the five-year average and 17.3 per cent below the 10-year average for the month. Home sales totaled 1,136 units over the first 11 months of this year, off 6.9 per cent from the same period in 2024, the association said.

“Sales activity was down from last year’s levels, although this belies the underlying monthly trend of rising activity over the course of 2025,” association president Barbara McCaughrin said in a release.
