We got a jam-packed edition of Pro Blue this week, with several former Michigan Wolverines scoring touchdowns and making big plays. Let’s start with a running back who had the best game of his professional career.
In a blowout victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Michigan legend Blake Corum had easily the best game of his professional career. The Los Angeles Rams running back racked up 128 yards — a new single-game career-high — and scored two touchdowns in a single game for his first time in the NFL.
Those touchdowns included a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter and a 48-yard score early in the fourth quarter, complete with a stop, drop, and roll celebration, which made sense considering he was on fire. That 48-yarder was the longest of his career.
