Srinagar- The Government of India has strengthened intelligence systems, inter-agency coordination, and border management over the past two years, leading to improved detection of infiltration attempts, neutralisation of terror networks, and monitoring of online radicalisation, Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai informed the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

In a written reply to MP E Tukaram, Rai said the Centre has enhanced the capabilities of Central and State law enforcement agencies to mitigate terror risks. Coordinated efforts between Central agencies and State police have enabled joint crackdowns on modules involved in terror recruitment, financing, and support activities, he said.
