As the 2025 BMW Dallas Marathon Festival kicked off its final day Sunday, 19,000 runners were poised to start their respective races, which included the half and full marathons. And records were broken!
The first man to cross the finish line for the 26.2-mile race was Steven Fahy with an unofficial time of 2 hours and 21 minutes.
The first woman to cross the finish line for the 26.2-mile race was Alauna Carstens with an unofficial time of 2 hours and 52 minutes.
For the half-marathon, Sergio Mena was the top male finisher with a time of 1 hour and 6 minutes, and Dakota Poephn was the top female finisher with a time of 1 hour and 12 minutes – a record.
