Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced on Tuesday his willingness to hold elections, appealing to both US and European allies to help secure the process amid the ongoing war.
Zelenskiy stated to reporters that elections could transpire within the next 60-90 days, contingent upon guaranteed security measures.
He intends to petition parliament for the creation of necessary legislation to allow elections to take place under existing martial law conditions.
