A coach full of children was trapped after being caught up in Storm Bram , leaving parents terrified.
The incident happened on the Portaferry Road in County Down in Northern Ireland . The drama unfolded after several mums and dads expressed their concern on social media and asked Translink (the country's main public transport operator) for more information about the delay to the service.
They claimed their kids had contacted them saying they were stuck on the notorious stretch of road out of Newtownards and next to Strangford Lough. The parents said their children had been stuck on the bus for two hours as they sought answers from Translink.
The parents alleged that when they contacted Translink's office, the organisation was unaware of the incident. A Translink representative apologised and informed them to have the school children to ask the driver for clarification on the situation, reports BelfastLive .
