Pamela Anderson has provided a definitive answer to whether she and Liam Neeson were actually a couple during their flirty promotional tour for "The Naked Gun" in July.

The sparks were real.

"If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming," Anderson confirmed to People in an interview published on Dec. 9.

She said the two stars of the slapstick comedy spent "an intimate week" together at Neeson's home in upstate New York.

Anderson, 58, said that Neeson, 73, even introduced her as "the future Mrs. Neeson" during a dinner at a French restaurant. The two also spent some time gardening together.

"I tended to a rosebush overgrown with mint … I was happy to help, and he appreciated," Anderson said.
