Whataburger has announced the closing of four of its Middle Tennessee area locations.
The Texas-based burger and fry chain officially entered the market in January 2022 when it opened the first of eight restaurants planned for Nashville at 5055 Old Hickory Blvd in Hermitage.
The unexpected closures come as the company has continued expanding throughout the state, opening at least 25 restaurants since entering Tennessee nearly four years ago. Most recently, the burger joint opened a Brentwood location in May.
The four Middle Tennessee area locations closing on Dec. 15 are:
