At Monday’s city council meeting, city planning manager Marc Bancroft and Katelyn Crowley, a senior planner with Zelinka Priamo Ltd., each presented on a report outlining a proposal for a 74-unit four-storey apartment building and five detached lots in city’s northwest at Kastner Street and Perth Line 36.

Crowley said these subject lands were previously approved for the development of 45 townhouses, at 33 units per hectare, but indicated a changing market had made an apartment building a better option for the site.
